Farmers Markets in Jefferson County

One of the easiest ways to support local farms and businesses is to shop at the farmers market! Jefferson County is home to a wide array of markets for folks to visit and enjoy. Each one hosts different vendors, and has a unique flair that makes the markets what they are:

Charles Town Farmers Market:

The Charles Town Farmers Market takes place on South Samuel Street each Saturday from 9:00-noon. The market is open from April-October, depending on the growing season, and boasts a variety of vendors, live music, and more! Check us out here, https://www.facebook.com/CharlesTownFarmersMarketWV

Shepherdstown Farmers Market:

The Shepherdstown Farmers Market takes place on King Street in Shepherdstown, behind the old library. The market is open each Sunday from 9:00-1:00 p.m., from March-October, depending on the growing season. The Shepherdstown Market also hosts a monthly winter market inside the War Memorial Building on East German Street, so you can shop and stay cozy! Wild and Wonderful Wednesday Market:

The Wild and Wonderful Wednesday Market is hosted by Black Dog Coffee each Wednesday from June-October. The market is open from 3:00-6:00 p.m., with food trucks available from noon-6:00. St. Isidore Farmers Market:

Jefferson County’s newest market, The St. Isidore Farmers Market is open on Fridays from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Charles Town. Place orders online at  https://saintisidoremarket.com/ or stop in and shop with the vendors! Order online weekly from 9:00 a.m. on Saturday through noon on Wednesday, and come pick up your order on Friday at the market! This market is sponsored by Community Markets, a local non-profit working to place local foods in the hands of those in need.
